About This Package
This unique Jeep & Train adventure combines Fremont County's only guided Jeep experience with a slice of Rocky Mountain railroad history. Check in at 8:00 AM and choose your jeep tour — the Red Canyon Tour (approx 3 hours) takes you through bright red towering spires and monoliths, or the Royal Gorge Tour (approx 3.5 hours) crosses the historic Royal Gorge Bridge and explores stunning canyon overlooks.
After your jeep tour, head to the Royal Gorge Route Railroad depot to board the 12:30 PM afternoon train. On the 2-hour rail excursion through the 1,250-foot-deep Royal Gorge alongside the Arkansas River, you'll have the chance to spot bald eagles, great blue herons, Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, and mule deer. Upgrade your seats to Deluxe or Vista Dome for unobstructed canyon views. All ages welcome. BONUS: Book the Royal Gorge jeep tour option and receive FREE Bridge & Park tickets.
