Bighorn Canyon – Class I-III
Colorado's Bighorn Sheep Canyon (Parkdale) is the perfect introduction to whitewater rafting — home to Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep herds with Class II & III rapids like Five Points, Spike Buck & Shark's Tooth. Ideal for all ages. Minimum age ~5 (50 lbs), varies with river conditions.
Royal Gorge – Class III-V
For those who want the most whitewater thrills. The Arkansas River narrows to 25 feet wide between 1,250-ft cliffs. Steep drops, huge waves, and world-class rapids like Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, and Boat Eater. Minimum age 14+ (varies with water levels).
