Royal Gorge Helicopter Tours
About This Tour
Royal Gorge Helicopters prides itself in being the only local helicopter excursion company in the Royal Gorge area. A helicopter tour over the Royal Gorge in Colorado offers breathtaking views of one of the most stunning natural wonders in the U.S. Fly over the 1,250-foot-deep Royal Gorge, carved by the Arkansas River over millions of years.
Witness the dramatic rock walls and rugged terrain from a unique aerial perspective. Get an incredible bird's-eye view of the Royal Gorge Bridge — one of the highest suspension bridges in the world, towering 955 feet above the river. Spot the historic train winding through the canyon along the riverbanks, a stunning sight from above. Keep an eye out for bighorn sheep, elk, and soaring eagles over the rocky cliffs and forests.
Fly past rolling hills, rugged cliffs, and the beautiful Colorado landscape stretching into the distance. Royal Gorge Helicopters is owned and operated by two owners with over 60 years of combined experience in aerial tourism. Our sister companies fly in the Black Hills of South Dakota around Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and the Badlands.
