Zip Line Over the Royal Gorge!

Looking for an adrenaline kick you’ll never forget? Fly over the Royal Gorge on the highest zip line in North America! On the Cloudscraper Zip Line, you’ll soar 1,200 feet above the Arkansas River. State-of-the-art harnesses and braking systems make this a hands-free, hair-raising ride you have to experience to believe.

 Zip Line Requirements:

  • Age 10 and Over ONLY
  • Riders under the age of 16 must have a parent or legal guardian present.
  • Riders under 18 must have a legal guardian sign the minor’s waiver.
  • All Zip Line riders must sign the Royal Gorge Bridge waiver.
  • Required to Ride – Weight: 100 to 245 lbs AND Height: between 4' and 6'10" tall. (Wind can change this requirement.)
  • Guests with physical conditions should not ride the Zip Line.

How to Get There

The Cloudscraper Zip Line is located inside the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, and there are two ways to get to the ride. You can either purchase a regular Royal Gorge Bridge admission ticket (stay in the park as long as you'd like that day and see the other attractions), or take a Royal Gorge 1/2 day jeep tour by Colorado Jeep Tours.

Royal Gorge jeep tours are about 4 hours long, and leave from (and return to) Cañon City. They drive through the Royal Gorge Park, stopping long enough for zip line riders to zip the gorge, then continue on the jeep tour. If there are people in your party who do NOT want to ride the zip, they would simply book the Royal Gorge jeep tour.

If you would prefer to spend more time in the Royal Gorge Park, visiting the theater, hiking, and seeing other attractions, it's best to purchase a Royal Gorge Bridge Ticket (you drive yourself to the Royal Gorge), along with your zip line ticket.
